Product description

The NerdOctaxe puts eight BM1370 ASICs on one board and delivers up to 12 TH/s, about two and a half times a NerdQaxe ++. The revised Rev 3.1 power design is built for sustained high load, and NerdOS, the Nerdaxe branch of the open AxeOS firmware, gives you full control over frequency, voltage and pool. The matching 12V/20A power supply is included so you can start immediately. Expect around 200 watts and audible fan noise; it is happier in a workroom than next to the bed. If you want it quieter and a little more hashrate, the NerdOctaxe Hydro has the same eight chips with water cooling and around 14 TH/s. Ships within 24 hours.

How much hashrate does the NerdOctaxe deliver?

Up to 12 TH/s from eight BM1370 ASICs, about two and a half times a NerdQaxe ++. More hashrate means more attempts per block in solo mining, but no guaranteed hit. The NerdOctaxe Hydro with water cooling goes a little further, to around 14 TH/s.

How high is the power consumption?

Around 200 watts at full load. The matching 12V/20A power supply is included.

Does the NerdOctaxe need active cooling?

Yes, it comes with active cooling and is audible during operation. Plan for that when placing it.
