The Avalon Nano 3S is the easy way into Bitcoin mining at home: around 6 TH/s from twelve Canaan A3197 ASICs at about 140 watts, in a compact, living-room-friendly case. At roughly 29 to 36 dB depending on power mode it runs pleasantly quiet and connects to your home network via WiFi or LAN. Setup is done through a simple web interface: enter your pool and Bitcoin address and you are done – no cloud lock-in. Plug & play for anyone who wants to start without tinkering. Ships within 24 hours.

Unlike a Bitaxe, the Avalon Nano 3S is not open-source hardware – but it is a particularly simple, ready-to-run all-in-one miner with significantly more hashrate than a single Bitaxe. Ideal as a convenient entry or an addition; the ~140 watts of waste heat warm the room on the side. If you want maximum openness and tuning, a Bitaxe is the better choice – if you want maximum convenience, the Avalon Nano 3S is.
